Where will the Thunder play their home games?

All 2018 home games are scheduled to be played at SportsCore One in Rockford, Ill. SportsCore is one of the elite facilities, not only in Illinois, but the entire country. Each year the field welcomes thousands of baseball, softball and soccer players to the venue.

Is there a Rainout number to contact in case of rain delays or game rescheduling due to bad weather?

Are there discounts for large groups?

Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. For additional information, contact Kenneth or visit the group ticket page by CLICKING HERE!

Are there ever any opportunities for the Thunder to help in any fundraising causes?

YES. There are several opportunities to fundraise with the Thunder. For example, your team can sell tickets for a selected game or series and then keep most of the profits.

Can we get an autograph from our favorite Thunder player or visiting player?

The Thunder has set aside at least 30 minutes after each game for fans to get an autograph and/or picture taken with their favorite player. On most game nights, both teams will take part in the postgame signing period.

Can the fans keep the foul balls just like they do at Major League Baseball games?

Fans may keep all home run balls and foul balls courtesy of the Thunder and National Pro Fastpitch.

What’s the distance between the bases?

The base paths are 60′. The base distance is the same you would find from 12 and under all the way to the pros.

What’s the distance between home plate and the mound?

43′ in Pro’s, college and international.
40′ in 12U up through 18 Gold & high school.
35′ in 10U on down.

When can base runners leave the base when leading off or stealing?

A runner must have their foot or some other portion of their body in contact with the base until the ball has left the hand of the pitcher.

How many players are on each team roster?

20 players are currently allowed on each of the team’s roster. Each NPF team must travel with a minimum of 12 players and no more than 16 players can participate in a single game.
